Here's a little about Kelly:
1. When did you become an X-Phile?
I became a fan of The X-Files around the age of 12. This was sadly just after the show had ended, around 2003. I watched the whole show while it was re-airing in France, where I lived at the time. I quickly started saving my pocket money to be able to buy the seasons on DVDs and watched Mulder and Scully with their original voices, as it was dubbed through and through in French. I was probably underage and not supposed to watch most of the episodes but an X-Phile was born that year. And I've never looked back.
2. What is the first episode you watched?
My memory is very blurry regarding this. I do believe it wasn't an episode but the first movie, Fight The Future. My parents used to watch The X-Files, past my bedtime of course. But one evening I remember staying up a bit longer and watching Fight The Future with them. The first scenes with the black oil running up under that kid's leg stayed with me for years. I also lived under the impression that Mulder and Scully were a couple much earlier on. I cannot explain my surprise as I rewatched the whole series from the beginning... People who followed the original series airing week after week have my utmost respect!
3. What are you looking forward to seeing in the revival?
I am very excited to see Mulder and Scully again. At the view of the recent spoilers (which I couldn't stop reading), I am curious to see in what sort of environment we are going to meet our agents again. I am also intrigued to see what kind opening credits we are going to be served. Gillian Anderson said she would love seeing them keep the original credits for the revival but I would be thrilled to see something new, although I would want them to keep the same eerie music which made the show so recognizable worldwide.
4. What inspired you to draw X-Files?
I stopped drawing altogether when I went to law school, mainly because of the lack of time. I rediscovered my love for drawing when I booked tickets for Gillian Anderson's play A Streetcar Named Desire. People could not get anything signed other than Streetcar-related items so I decided to make a drawing of Blanche Dubois to give Gillian and get her to sign my copy. I fell in love with drawing again and got a graphic tablet and unleashed this X-Files fanartist monster living in me. I have quite an active Tumblr where I post my fan art and where I receive amazing support. X-Philes are my true motivation to draw more fan art.
5. Who is your favorite character?
This is such a hard question to answer. I absolutely love Scully - she has been such a great role model when I was growing up and I suppose I identify with her a lot. She has great integrity, honesty and she always told us the truth. But I also adore Mulder, his determination to never give up, his sense of humour and how it makes Scully smile...

7. Favorite X-Files quote.
Not so much of a quote but the ending of Elegy always gets me...
Mulder: Why can't you be honest with me?
Scully: What do you want me to say? That you're right, that, that I believe it even if I don't. I mean, is that what you want?
Mulder: Is that what you think I want to hear?
Scully: No.
Mulder: You can believe what you want to believe, Scully, but you can't hide the truth from me because if you do, then you're working against me... and yourself. I know what you're afraid of. I'm afraid of the same thing.
Scully: The doctor said I was fine.
Mulder: I hope that's the truth.
8. How has The X-Files impacted your life?
The X-Files has been a comfort during some difficult times in my life. I have found amazing people while becoming part of this fandom. This show has changed my perception of television and how when characters like Mulder and Scully are created, it can impact your life choices. Although fictional, they bring strength to people in their life. A lot of us think "what would Mulder/Scully do?" and while it may sound silly, I think it helps to look up to characters who hold values like courage and honesty as important qualities.
