Here's a little about Jes:
1. When did you become an X-Phile?
I became an X-Phile about 9 years ago. I was looking for a monologue for an acting class and came across Gillian Anderson in The House of Mirth, which at the time was my favourite book, and I became a fan of hers and wanted to branch out into more of her work, starting with The X-Files. And I couldn't stop watching it.
2. What is the first episode you watched?
3, I started in the middle of reruns on a tv channel. But oddly enough this episode first aired the day I was born.
3. What are you looking forward to seeing in the revival?
To see if Dana Scully can finally blink with both eyes at once. No, but seriously, I'm looking forward to seeing how everything has changed over the years and where the characters will be at now in their lives. Also I'm very excited to be a part of the fandom while they air for the first time and getting to experience that with everyone.
4. What inspired you to draw X-Files?
Gillian Anderson is a great person to draw or paint, in general. But also because I love the show and it is a part of my life, and who I am it's important to me to use the inspiration it gives me to create something.
5. Who is your favorite character?
Dana Scully.

8. How has The X-Files impacted your life?
This show taught me a lot about believing in myself and about being a strong woman, and a feminist. That seeing isn't always believing. That there is humor in every situation. That the truth is extremely important, rare to find and worth fighting for. It's also introduced me to so many amazing actors, who floor me with their bodies of work. It's also given me a connection to comic cons, and introduced me to some lovely people and brilliant artists. Oh and it taught me that it is possible to run in heels.
