Gordon C. Tunstall II

It's FanArt Wednesday again! This week’s chosen artist is Gordon C. Tunstall II, from Phoenix, Arizona. You can connect with Gordon on DeviantArt and Facebook.

Here's a little about Gordon:

1. When did you become an X-Phile?

When the show first aired here in the United States in 1993.

2. What is the first episode you watched?

The very first episode I watched was the pilot episode.

3. What are you looking forward to seeing in the revival?

I hope in the revival series will be alien themed. I found this to be the best part of the original show and the first X-Files movie.

4. What inspired you to draw X-Files?

It was the best television show I have ever seen. I am so excited about its return that I decided to do an X-Files photoshop picture.

5. Who is your favorite character?

That is a very difficult question to answer. My favorite character would be either Scully or Mulder. Their characters are what drives the show. If I had to pick between them, I would pick Scully.

6. List your top 5 episodes.

"Pilot", "Paper Clip", "Ice", "Duane Barry", & "Triangle".

7. Favorite X-Files quote.

Mulder: “Sorry, nobody down here but the FBI's most unwanted.”

Deep Throat: “Trust no one.”

Cigarette Smoking Man: “What is this?”

8. How has The X-Files impacted your life?

The X-Files was the best television show that I have ever watched. The scripts were well written, the acting was superb, the plots in every episode kept my interest. I can watch each episode again and again and I never get tired of seeing them. It has impacted my life in a positive way, by making me laugh and keeping me entertained. It has also opened my mind to questioning things that are presented in the news media.

Thanks, Gordon! See you next Wednesday for a new artist!
