Here's a little about Gomnitus:
1. When did you become an X-Phile?
I became a fan of Akte-X in 1995 back then as I was living in the German-speaking region of South Tyrol. The show was all new over there and my classmates were talking about it and how scary it was. Since I was a kid, I always loved Sci-Fi and Horror movies, so I naturally started watching The X-Files (in German) and I loved it.
2. What is the first episode you watched?
The first episode of The X-Files was "Tooms". And I remember that so well because after seeing that episode on TV, I thought to myself that this show is like nothing I've ever seen before. I also loved the music theme of the show right from the start. I was whisteling it all day after having watched The X-Files. Back then, there was almost no internet, so in order to get any information, I had to go on a hunt for any magazine that featured a story about The X-Files. I would buy anything with Mulder & Scully in it.
3. What are you looking forward to seeing in the revival?
Few days ago, I had the luck to see the first episode of the Revival and I was so looking forward to seeing Mulder and Scully again on the screen. And it was simply magical. Everything was coming back to me, it seemed like I'd seen the last episode only days ago. David and Gillian are two wonderful people and with years they have inspired me in many different ways.
4. What inspired you to make X-Files fanart?
The relationship bewteen Mulder and Scully is unique and I see it in an idealistic way. For me, their relationship was the inspiration for all of my videos. I guess I can relate to them so much that I can find inspiration for any kind of video about The X-Files. The hardest part is to actually see them a way we didn't see them before and sometimes the music we choose helps a lot in that process.
5. Who is your favorite character?
My favorite character is Dana Scully. Without a doubt and I must admit that most of my videos are actually Scully-centred. Her character is very complex and I love making videos focusing on her side of the series. Of course, I don't think it would be the same without Mulder and I can't imagine only making a video about Scully.

8. How has The X-Files impacted your life?
My dear uncle calls me "Mulder" since I started watching and obsessing with The X-Files. Nowdays, I am a bit older and it's different. I am not the same crazy obsessed fan that I used to be when the show was on the air. Nevertheless, The X-Files is still part of my life and who I am and that will not change. I guess nothing has changed over the years, just the way I express my obsession for these two characters, mainly through making videos.
