Glen Morgan is the writer and executive producer on a new eight episode series. Based on Michael Marshall Smith's novel, The Intruders has been greenlit by BBC America and is set to start production in the spring of 2014. The thriller is about a secret society devoted to pursuing immortality by seeking refuge in the bodies of others.
"Glen Morgan has delivered a brilliant script, and we're thrilled to be working with Glen, Jane Tranter, Julie Gardner and our colleagues at BBC Worldwide Productions on this provocative new series," said BBC America general manager Perry Simon in the press release.
Glen Morgan, along with James Wong as his writing partner, was behind some of the most talked about X-Files episodes , with credits including: "Beyond the Sea", "Tooms", "One Breath", "Home", "The Field Where I Died" and "Never Again".
