X-Files News is on Archival Mode. Updates are on hiatus.

Several X-Files alumni are up for Critics' Choice Television Awards nominations. Gillian Anderson is in the running for Best Actress in a Movie/Miniseries for Great Expectations. Vince Gilligan's Breaking Bad and Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa's Homeland are both up for the Best Drama Series award. In addition, Breaking Bad has four nominated actors, and Homeland has two. American Horror Story is up for Best Movie/Miniseries. Those who followed the show probably recognized writer/producer James Wong in the credits.

The awards ceremony will be held on June 18th at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. We'll keep you updated on the winners, but until then, you can find out more about the awards and other nominees at the Critics' Choice website
