The fans from The X-Files.Ru have decided to start a new fandom experience and XFN is happy to join them!
William the Rabbit is set to start his journey on June 11th, 2016 in Russia but he plans to visit X-Files fans all over the world!
As you may remember, X-Files News spearheaded, along with dozens of international communities, the Frankenbear tour to honor Frank Spotnitz's relationship with the fandom. After such a successful campaign that gathered funds for the UCLA Rape Treatment Center, the fans wanted to do it again with CarterFox, this time to pay homage to Chris Carter. Unfortunately, CarterFox got lost somewhere in Russia. We smell a conspiracy(*).
Cut to today: the great Russian fans have began organizing the tour for this little fellow. If you're interested in being part of the activity, here are some facts you want to know:
- Travel starts on June 11th, 2016 through Russia.
- More cities will be added to the schedule per request and confirmation from the organizing team.
- Deadline to sign up to be a host is July 16th, 2016.
- After William is done travelling the world, he will be turned over to Chris Carter as the final step of his journey.
During his trip, William will collect stories and pictures to be added to his delivery package and will be part of his social media updates. Like wise, the importance of his journey is to be able to unite and create experiences for the fandom in different cities. If you can't be a host, you can still attend a gathering.
